Those are worth money? WTF. They are ugly, and in bad shape. I think I saw some in the salvage yard this weekend on a 82 Firebird. Passed them right by.

yah, I was watching those rims. It's over $200 and that is STILL to high for me. Either I'm really cheap or I know what the rims are really worth. Knight Rider sucks...if only because the parts I need are overpriced on Ebay.

What I've been doing lately is looking in the classifieds for '82-'83 TA's with those rims. If I see one I'll call up the person and see if they want to trade or get rid of the rims. I think most people would be willing to, and I'd rather have them then someone else just getting rid of them for better rims. Saw one at a dealer not too long ago. Unfortunatly they wouldn't part with the rims unless I bought the car

Anyway, it's another alternative to looking at overpriced rims on ebay...and if they say no, so what. At least I tried!!

The other day while working I saw an early third gen while driving and went out of my way to turn around to see if it had the turbocasts...had the rally II's instead! Another one I saw had the turbofin rims, but I think they were 14"...car was a V6 and pretty beat up.

I do agree that they are going for insane prices, but technically that makes them "worth" that much. Supply and Demand, where they meet = price and worth

Good luck on getting a pair for cheap or free. I have a set of 14s that are just kinda sitting around off of my 84 T/A.

AND he didnt get hurt, he didnt land in a dumpster and go "kitt, come quick, im outta midol and i got like some vicious menstral cramps from jumping off this building". nope, he got his self up and caught a cab. screech from "saved by the bell" didnt need a car, and he got a date with kelly without one. the car was the star, and it was bogus, because micheal could not get the job done without it. so much for human initative.

I second the 14" observation lol

Wasn't there an auction for these with the caps that went for over a grand!?

What's the big deal? Some company should make repros and make a killing!

maybe the should make repos...then the prices would come down, but then the only people who would buy the repos are knight rider people anyway since most people who actually have them get rid of them.

Red1991TransAm: Thats a good looking car without a doubt. But I have to be honest and say I think it would look better with the original N89's on it. I think im one of the few people who thinks they look good. I know, Im a weirdo. LOL

I sold at set on eBay earlier this year that when for $800.00! That was insane. The person lived in Japan and paid for express 10 day air shipping, that’s another $350. I started the auction at $200 but whatever I guess they really wanted them. Lately, the price has seemed to come down to the $400 to $600 range.
