This car was from Springfield IL
The kid had liscence plates that said GNRLLEE (General Lee) and a confederate flag liscence plate hanging from the front plate... I wonder how it got all the way up to Alberta Canada????

Not sure what the exchange rate is right now but I think its about .86 to for 1 US dollar. Therefore a 10,000 car is $8600

Actually the TTA notchback is not a bad deal.

I think he was asking 22,500 thats $19350 for a 40K TTA, its in the ball park.

BTW, do not complain, it only increases the value of our cars.

There were 3-4 special colors available only in 92 to acknowledge the 25th anniversary of the firebird. That blue is one of them. The jade green I have was the second, and Jamaican yellow was the third. I think the 4th was listed in the brochure, but never proven to exist.

All pretty rare colors.

Has anyone here ever bought a car in Canada and brought her down to the States???? I was just wondering how hard/difficult/expensive it would be. Then how hard would it be getting the title transferred? Heck, we were up there fishing 2 years ago and they damm near strip searched us because we were bringing fish back (fileted and in a cooler)....

There were no factory TTAs with the notchback.
There is suppost to be 1 GTA with it though.
That person has some nice cars.
I wonder if they are all US cars or not.
He doesn't really give much info on the cars.

That car has been around the block many, many , many times. wrong paint, incorrect rims... The notch was added later in the car's life. It seems the price is a bit rich for what the car actually is.
I think it's been advertised for almost two years in various Canadian publications.

He did have one of nine '91 R7U 1LE trans ams though. Less than 20K on the clock, cage, helon system still in the car and paperwork to go with it. Asking $19500.CND - Not sure if it sold though.

The source of the TTA with the Notchback is an ad that was put out by Pontiac. i'm sure someone could post it, but it's a TTA with decals and the Notchback lid. It was a Pontiac advertisement.

Yup it sold last month to a very happy fellow in Eastern Canada.

I don't recall if it was the 1990 or 1991 batch of Trans Am's made. It's either 1 of 14 or 1 of 9 ... I guess who cares, rare enough!

Mark.
