85 they were in the center console, if not there your out of luck, as I do not think even the dealers can get a hold of them.

There's another spot somewhere...I have one in the center console sealed under plastic and tape (found it when I was looking around one day). However, the thing is I found a piece of another RPO code sheet (had a few of the same codes as my center consol one did) on yellowed paper on my floor once. So you might find it underneath a seat or something somewhere too.

THats commonly called the build sheet, it is the piece of paper that follows your car around in the assembly plant and is discarded about the time your carpet was installed during the assy process.

I heard you can get the build sheets or window stickers from the Pontiac historical society or something like that. I gotta do that too because the sheet is gone in my car too.

I have not looked into it yet but I heard that.

what year ???

84 and older on all cars is when there was a SPID label at all

before 84 you are SOl unless you are lucky as hell and find a build sheet in it

i completely stripped out my 82 WS7 and founf nothing at all so it will never be proven to be what it is

ever

screwed

if you hvae an 85-up then you had a chance if it hd the lavel still in the glovebox lid, but if not then you gotta hope for a buildsheet in the car somewhere., if not then good luck.,.,

unless pontiac can help..

but i dunno about that..

does anyone ?

i know id like to know about this historical thing ?

good luck

Hi All,
I found both copies of my RPO code sheets when I replace the carpet in my 82 Bird back in 1998. One was in the trunk area and the other was underneath the console. The one underneath the console is in the best shape.
