1982-1983 Cruise control transducer
Hello,
I was at the junkyard today and saw an '82 TA that i noticed had cruise control. I was wondering if all transducers were the same or did they make different ones depending on engine type. I'm sure they all function the same but this one looked a little different compared to others I have seen, and it varied from the shop manual a little. I'll probably go back and grab it but I was just curious. Seemed like the hoses and routing were a little different.

I checked my GM Master Parts Catalog and it lists two different transducer units for '82-83 Firebirds. One for the 2.5L Iron duke/2.8 V6 and the other for the 305 V8.

cool thanks! I thought maybe there were different ones. The one I was looking at wasn't from a 305 car so I guess I wont be picking up that unit. The car was actually a Firebird not a TA.
