I do know that 1987 LG4's came with the in-tank supply pump rated at 3 psig. I do not know about the earlier LG4's.

Well GMTech I was hoping someone would have answered your question by now. I was curious myself when I read your post. I do know that all the earlier ones (including the L69) did not have an intank fuel pump (AFAIK), many believe they do, but only the 350 HO GM retro fit kit from GM includes one. Which is used to elliviate the vapor lock (if your lines aren't re-routed

It blew my mind when I seen that I did. I never suspected having one, so I never looked for signs of having one, but now I noticed I have the oil pressure switch, the relay, the whole nine yards. Fascinating.
