I am about to get an 85' camero Z28. I did the vin decoder on it and i saw that the engine (305 TPI) was only used on the IROCs. Until i have the car i cant see the RPO codes on the door to find out if it is IROC.

So can anyone tell me if it is an IROC from the engine code. the engine is the LB9

any help is greatly appreciated.

85 was the first year for TPi and the only availble tpi engine was a 305 which came in both z28's and iroc's. hope this helps.
