It came from Ill. It was totalled in 96'. Sold to someone in MN, Salvage title did not continue in MN, 11 different title transactions. jeez. Now i know why there is so many weird looking and hacked together parts on my car, how depressing.

 

This is what you wanted to know about your car before you bought it. Out here, we have Government Auto Insurance and it has all the history of a car if it was originally bought and sold in the province. However, the damn insurance company will only give that to you IF you are the registered owner...not if you are just interested, even if you are trying to decide whether to buy a car or not.

 

unfortunatly i didn't think about doing it, i didn't have a computer at the time. I just went to carfax.com and they gave me the title history.

 

wow..i got lucky...i carfaxed after i bought my car and everything was ok with it....however i bought a motorcycle that had been salvaged.
