GREAT new Camaro book!!!
Well, I did my monthly run to Barnes and Noble to check on the car books, and I stumbled across 1 of the most impressive Camaro books I've seen!!
Its called, once again
, Camaro. Its by Anthony Young, published by MBI Publishing. I got the ISBN # for you guys in case someone else wanted it too.
ISBN 0-7603-0783-0
What's nice about this book is that there are a LOT Of reprints of ads (especially for 2nd gen cars), and there is quite a bit devoted to 3rd gens. So many Camaro books seem to ignore the 2nd and 3rd gens, but this one is great!!
Oh yeah, I ordered the Firebird Red Book while I was there too...its gonna be a HUGE help to my website!!

I bought that camaro book a few weeks ago. Fantastic book. I read it cover to cover in one night. It actually had 2 whole thirdgen chapters! Most camaro books have 50+ firstgen and secondgen pages, 3 thirdgen pages and a black and white pic, then 50+ fourthgen pages.

I know, that's what I liked so much about it!! The pics were pretty good. I wish the author had taken more time to get more pics of stock Camaros though...purely for historical reference.
Overall though, I'm VERY happy...I ordered it through one of the places I work (college bookstore) in order to get it 35% off. It should be in Thursday, and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

You mean the blue one? That car is gorgeous!! You must be proud to have your car in the book...it's the best looking 3rd gen selected for that one.

Hey, if you'd like, you can see a picture of MY car in there too! Know where the title page is for the '89-'92 chapter? That grey RS picture is from the '89 dealer brochure, and is "my" car (I've got t-tops though)
That's probably as close as my car will ever get to being in a Camaro book...lol. Unless all of a sudden there is a huge demand for 6 banger photos, it won't happen
By the way, the 1st time I saw your car in the book, the thing that impressed me immediately was the fact that the dealer tag is still on the bumper! Now THAT is original!

Thanks..BTW if you dont already have it. David Shelby Has a good book out on modifying the 3rd gen Camaro. It has a brief history of each year, and the changes.

Camaro Performance Handook? Yeah, I got it somewhere
Thanks anyways though! I'm always looking for recommendations for good F-body books!
