Did the Firebird SE's ever come with the 305 V8 and 5-spd transmission? Specifically the 85's? I know they came with the LG4 but my resources say that in 85 the only combo was the LG4 and A4. Anyone prove me otherwise? Thanks.

In 1985 you could not get anything but the LG-4 305 with a 5 speed in a Trans Am. I know this because the original owner of my 85 T/A special ordered this car from the factory and he wanted every option available including the HO engine but was told that it was only available with an Automatic trans.
