Here we go...
  • total number of cars produced 100,838
  • Z28 coupe production 12,452
  • LB9 motor (305 stock motor) 9,996
  • G92 rear 6,813
  • drum brakes all cars minus 4,938
  • 41 black ext 12,801 with red interior ?
  • Manual seats all cars but 11,325
  • 5 speed subtract 85,321 automatics
In other words, with the info you gave me, I have it narrowed down. Your car is one of 6,813.

This is very innaccurate, as I don't have your rpo sheet in your console, but if you email me the info on the sheet, maybe I can narrow it down more for you.

Hi
I don't have the numbers but of the cars I run across I have yet to see one with power seats (I am not saying they don't exist). That said my car is almost the same as yours (where it counts) and I am told it isn't all that rare for the model year. I guess what I am saying is it is no TTA. It is a nice ride though isn't it...

power seats in 3rdgens are 'too' rare at all. i would say that probably 75% of the Berlinettas I've seen, 30% of SCs and 1/10th or so IROCs have had power seats... I have 3 in my garage right now, in fact...I come across alot of cars as I scrounge in the parts yards a few times a week looking for goodies..

as far as I know, there never were any pass side power seats, just driver... i'd like to find out if that's a true fact, or if there were some limited models (I thought GTA?) that had power seats..

either way, numerically, your car could be rare, but it would have to take some math and some percentages to figure it out... it does sound like your car is on the rare side (as are both my IROCs as well, they are similarly optioned to yours) so you should pat yourself on the back

for the record, both of my IROCs have power seats..

addendum:

i looked at the stats for your car... i wish my car was a 40k car.. it has 91k on it now, 13k since i had to rebuild the engine...

i bet it's a looker

I sold my 1991 Z28 last year and it had power seat but rear disc delete and no rear defogger as it was originally a California car. From what I understand you could get drum brakes instead of discs to save some money.
