Need info on 87' and 88' TPI motor

About a year ago i purchase a 305 TPI out of a firebird with a 5 speed. Me being the idiot i didnt check to see if the car had a mass air flow sensor or speed density. The motor came with the wireing harness computer flywheel and stock clutch. He told me the car was a 90' so i figured it was a speed density, until i saw the computer on the back and said it was a 87-88. I know it has roller lifters, cause i had it rebuild and once again the block had a crack so i had a new one put and i didnt get a chance to look at the casting number on the old block. Is it possible to find out whether its an 87 or 88. I know it dosent make a difference but i need to know. Is there something i can look at to figure out what motor i have I know its either an 87 to 88' thank u very much
