what were the availible gear options for an 89' L98?

also another question.
is there any place where i can get my factory 89' cd player re-ferbished? i know it probably would b better to get a better, newer one, but it just looks so unique and so 80's

9-bolt posi disc brakes with 2.77 rear gears, or the same with 3.27 rear gears.

one other thing.. could my car have an aluminum drive shaft?

The aluminum driveshaft(JG1)and 3.27 axle(GW6)were standard with the 5.7(B2L)in 89 Firebirds.Check your RPO sheet in your center console,you should have all 3.
