'91 5.0L GTA Help
Hi. I'm planning to purchase a '91 5.0L GTA.
It'll have a 5-speed, and of course the 5.0L TPI V-8 engine. It looks real sweet and it'll be my first car. What things should I look for in these ThirdGen Firebirds? What problems do they usually have? What parts of the car are known to be unreliable? Also, since my other choice would be a 5.0L Mustang GT 5-speed, which is faster? I'm pretty sure a 5.7L GTA would beat a 5.0L Mustang but I just can't stand automatic. Thanks for your help.

These are among the best thirdgens built. The car is roughly equal to a 5.0 GT 5 speed in peformance.
IMO not to sound like an *** ... a car like this is too damn fast for a first car. I know if I had started with the car I have now rather than the V6 Camaro I had as a first car.... I surely would have wrapped it.
