Worth a look...

Came across this GTA on ebay. Beautiful car but I have a hunch that whoever buys it for $12,000+ is going to be PISSED when they find out that someone chopped the roof and installed Cars and Concepts ttops...

This has been the 3rd time this Notchback has been on eBay. The last two times it reached 15-16K and the reserve wasn't met.

ah ha!

yeah i know i've seen that GTA before. I wonder how much that reserve is set at?

Honestly I wouldn't pay anywhere near that much for it. Course I'm not a car collector.

If they want top dollar for a low mileage car, they're going to have to find a collector. The problem is that between the roof being hacked up and then the cheesy fire extinguisher int he back seat and the CB radio, it's not worth a fraction of what it would be worth if the owner had left it alone. But that's just my take on it.

looks like hes trin to cover up somethin on the bumper. see how he covered the license plate, to the left it looks like theres a circle covering somethin also. just looks a lil odd to me thats all.

even without the direct shot of the t-tops a carefull eye can tell by the weatherstripping visable in the top of some of the interior shots that those are not original.

that thing is NICE other then that though. i mean, the drivers side kick pannel will need to be replaced (due to CB instalation) and it will nead a new rear carpet piece (fire extinguisher) but other then that it would be showroom condition..... EXCEPT those t-tops. who the hell would do that to a notchback for goodness sake. were they stupid. did they not know how rare those were back in 1988? probably not. crying shame.

looks like my GTA, other then the screwed up roof and the notchback.
