GTA availible in silver ?
I assume by Silver your man "Gunmetal Metallic" right? I believe it was available and according to the GTA Source Page, there were only 98 made that color that year.

Silver Metallic was never offered on GTAs, but the Code 87 Gunmetal Metallic (G-M) was offered from 1987-1991. I have an '88 model that I'm rebuilding that is G-M.
The 1987 cars used two different codes and two different WA numbers for Gunmetal. I am fairly certain that the GTAs used the Code 87 instead of the Code 84..... only one car was produced in Code 84 Gunmetal. It is not known if it was a GTA or a Trans Am model.
The late 1987-1991 cars used the same Code 87 color, but G-M was dropped partway through the model year in 1991. The color was replaced by a new metallic hue..... Medium Green Metallic..... shortly after production began for the year.
So it is a rare color for all years, but especially for 1991.

bird67, according the the 1992 Pontiac Firebird Car Order Worksheet, the following color codes were available (model availability is noted):
10 - Arctic White (All models)
18 - Dark Jade Gray Metallic (All models)
37 - Dark Aqua Metallic (Base, Formula models only)
41- Black (All models)
45 - Dark Geen Metallic (All models)
52 - Yellow (All models)
75 - Brilliant Red Metallic (T/A, GTA models only)
80 - Bright Blue Metallic (All models)

According to this sheet, the code 87 was not available. Are you sure you don't have the code 37 Dark Aqua Metallic instead?
Not trying to question or dispute you..... just asking.
