Does anyone know how many thirdgens were made with this combination. I have been searching for one, but have come across only a 1988 Formula (which I already have but w/TBI). I'm wondering if it's just me or if there is a reason there seem to be so few of the TPI/5spd/T-tops combos. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

well i dont know how many where made but thats the combo i have , its just that there where not that many thirdgen 5speeds in general most are autos

1989 Trans Am, 305 TPI 5-speed, T-Tops(love 'em),4-wheel disc, 3.73 posi(the toy). '97 Camaro V-6 T-Tops(daily driver)

 

A ton. In 88 alone there were about 800 5 speed GTAs, and I believe that the vast majority of them had t tops.

You guys are making me jealous! I found a couple of IROC Convertibles, but they're a little out of my price range ($6K and $8K). But I'll keep looking. Thanks!

 

I have one, and only 94 5Speed TAs were produced in 92 and they weren't all T-tops, so the like a ton answer only pertains to certain years
