Why have a camaro?????

I have always wondered why many of us were lured to the camaro/firebirds and why we have now a 3rd gen?

I like to hear everybody's though on what bought us down the f-body path.

Here is mine:

I have owned 5 cars in my life and all have been camaros. (3 81 camaros and a 91 RS and now I have a 92 z28)

It was the summer before my senior year in high school (1986) and I was helping our club wash cars for some money.

A buddy of mine drive up in his bright red 79 z28. I helped him wash it and from that point on I was hooked!!

2 months later I bought my 81 camaro and I have not been the same since.

As for the 3rd gen, I have always loved the style and appearance of these cars, plus they seem practical for everyday use or for show use.

Well, pass your responses, nothing fancy but just a quick story; like you rode in somebody's camaro or saw an add for one or a relative just bought a brand new one when you were a kid and bamm!!!, you said "I gotta have one"

Thanks!!!

Manny

92 z28, 350, with 46k miles, pw, pl, powere mirrors, power drivers seat, rear defroster, 4 wheels discs, limited slip performance axle, engine oil cooler, bright red leather and the Heritage Package!!!

Manny,

Your subject matter is off topic. It requires subjective answers (i.e. opinions, not cold hard facts), which makes it non-tech. I hope you understand, but I have to close this thread. Please use
