Found a 1LE!!!!!!

Well I didnt exactly see the car, saw an ad in Newsday:

"1992 Camaro Z28 25th Anniv. 1LE, 5.7/350, 79k, loaded! $11k/neg"

There's also a 82 pace car on Newsday's web site.

Seems a little high for that kind of mileage...

I think the "loaded" part gives it away.1LE's
were stripper cars, for the most part.

Gregg is 111% correct There is no such animal as a loaded 1LE. Even 4th gen 1LE's have crank windows!

I dont doubt you guys one bit. I only saw the ad, not the car. So I have no way of clarifying if it is a 1LE and what he means by "loaded". Just thought perhaps someone here would be interested in checking it out.

Well, having A/C barely qualifies a car as loaded!! I have never seen a 1LE with PW, PL, etc...the ones I have seen in person and in magazines have always had manual stuff, and even the Z28s (at least the early ones) continued with the fog light delete.

Even the dealer I work for has never seen a 1LE with power options, and we have ordered a few of these cars throughout the years, primarily for collectors. Is it possible to get power options for 1LEs??? Anything is possible...but you aren't SUPPOSED to be able to get them

There are a few documented Firebirds that have power options, and ac did become standard in '96 on all F-bodies. Thirdgen 1LE Z28's should all be stripper cars. I would need to see serious documentation on a car to beleive differently. But who know's, GM does all kinds of goofy stuff. The order on my '98 went through with rear floor mats, even though they were specifically not allowed with 1LE in dealer brochures.

Whoops. My mistake. I just looked at the pics again. It's 2600 miles, not 6400.

The pics are huge and I'm on a modem, so I'm not sure when I'll get them uploaded. I'll let you know when I do.
