Where can I find somethign that will tell me how many of my car was produced. Wow broken sentence, haha thats funny. Bad grammar. Well anyway, my car is:

1992 Firebird
L03, 700r4, T-Tops, Dark Bright Cyan (?)

I'm too lazy to go get the RPO codes but if I need to I will.

 

I dont know if its aftermarket or not, but I have lexan T-Tops.

 

I don't have specs by engine, but per PHS 24,364 base model Firebirds in 92. That number doesn't include Formula's, Trans Am's or GTA's.

Your Lexan T-Tops were stock, I had them on my RS, some people had them replaced with glass like my GTA, because of damage (looks like a spider web), I don't know about how rare your car is though.

Mine had Lexan for its first year...then the dealer swapped glass ones off another '89 RS on the lot because the corner had cracked off of one of mine.

Lexan were standard on 91 I know. If you wanted they could be replaced at the dealership for no cost I think. Also they were dropped in 92 because of the way they cracked. But I love mine because they are so darn light.

The Lexan were in and out about three times between 1989 and 1992. They introduced them, found the problem, thought they'd fixed it and the problem came up again, etc... Generally speaking every 89-92 fbody with ttops had lexan ttops from the factory. They were replaced under warranty both with new lexan tops and glass tops, usually at the customers complaint.
