From Firebird Redbook (second edition). I have it sitting in front of me, lol
1992: 2 dr firebird: 21,423
firebird. vert:1,265
formula: 1052
Transam: 816
Transam vert: 663
total: 25,180
I do not know how accurate these #'s are, I have seen diffrent #'s for 92, for the most part they should give you the main idea.
------------------
1983 TransAm
1984 TransAm
1994 TransAm GT
1994 25th TransAm GT
1990 T-Bird SC
1971 Boss 351
Four TransAm's are not enough. Firebirds for all.

After about 3 years, these are the most accurate numbers I've found:
http://www.TransAmGTA.com/ProductionNumbers.html
Firebird: 22,499
Firebird 'Verts: 1,265
Bandit II's: 600
Formulas: 1,017
Formula 1LE: 22
Firehawk: 17
Trans Am: 969
Trans Am 'Verts: 663
Trans Am 1LE: 9
Trans Am GTA: 226 (Pontiac says 508 but I believe it to be 226 after quite a bit of research since I own one)
The Firebird Red Book is VERY, VERY inaccurate. Don't believe a single number in there. I've gotten my numbers straight from Pontiac Historical Services, Pontiac, various books, and other sources. No 1 source I've looked at was completly accurate but I believe mine are to best of anyone's ability to find out the real numbers.

It would be interesting to know how many V8 Firebirds were built in 92. I have seen a few 92s around, but only a handful of V8 ones that aren't Formulas or T/As.
