I'm guessing not very. You're at least the 3rd person in recent memory that asked how rare their 84 305 HO 5 speed with 3.73 gears is.
By virtue of its age, it's going to be a car that isn't very common, but not something that has any sort of unusual collector value.

Give it time...I bet it will be. I know they made some 30-40,000 in '84, but the L69 was a very popular engine in its day...it was the first truly quick third gen. Its a car I wouldn't mind having in my garage
Restore it and keep it. It won't be a very good investment, but so what?? Who here loves third gens because of their return-on-investment?

Well, I'd say there's a bunch out there, in '84 all 5 speed L69 powered Z28's came with a 3.73 rear.

Well according to this site's technical info it was standard (with no other options) in '84 for 5 speed L69 Camaros and firebirds... in the LG4 5 speeds, you had an option between 3.23 and 3.73....

Well, mine has the conteur seats in it that say Camaro all the way down the seats in alternating colors that coincide with the striping on the bottom of the car. I would like to think that my Z is atleast a little bit rare.

Not particularly rare at all...
My 83 HO car is silver with gray velour interior, 5-speed, 3.73s, etc. Its GFX are a brighter silver. In 84 the silver cars got the darker GFX.
