Camaro Z-28 E ??

Hey everyone, I saw an 84 Z28 E and I´m wondering what the E means, I know it stands for export version .... but I have no clue what the difference between a US and an export version was.... the only notible differance I could see was that it had more space for the license plates (probably for the bigger euro plates).... what else is different ? thanks for the input

I vaguely remember reading that they had clear headlight covers. Like the dark-tinted GTS style covers, only clear.

PLease email me, as I have a Motor Trend article on the Z28 E at my house...remind me to look it up for you!! Here's what I remember about the '82 (or '83??) debut model:

-No rear spoiler
-Only engine available: 165HP LG4...it made 20 more HP than the normal LG4 due to no smog equipment and no cats
-Clear headlight covers
-Wider license plate indent
-F41 instead of Z28 suspension

And there's other stuff too I can't think of right now...email me and I will remember to post it on here!!

i think the thing with the exported version is that it is set up the total opposite of how we drive our cars like everything is on the left side like cars in england and whatnot.
