Convertible GTA?

Are there any out there. I especially want a 90-92 if they had them but something tells me that they only made T/As in convertibles and not GTAs

The only GTA convertibles you'll find will be aftermarket conversions. The only GM authorized Convertible Firebirds were 91-92. In those years you could get a base model firebird with the aero package as a convertible, or the Trans Am Convertible. Really the only difference between a 91-92 Trans Am Convertible and the 91-92 GTA are the badges and the drop top. The 91-92 Trans Am convertible could be ordered with the Ultima seats, the gold crosslace wheels, etc... There wasn't much to make the GTA stand out above the Trans Am after 1990.

I agree mine has must of the same stuff a GTA would have except one thing. A 350 and a higher gear ration rear end.

It must not be a real GTA because there was no "maroon" color in 1992. Sounds nasty to me so I'm glad there wasn't. It must be a car that someone pieced together.....
