I was interested in buying a third gen convertible probably a 1992 and was researching them. What I found confuses me. According to one of the pages I read In 1990 and 1992 the 5.0L convertible had a TPFI engine but in 1991 it had a MPFI engine with more power (210HP instead of 205) Is this right? If so is there any other year between 1986 and 1992 that there would be a convertible avialable with MPFI?

 

You could actually even get one with 235HP of you got the 305/5-spd/dual cat version.....

305+5Speed+Dual Cats=230 H.P. for 91-92 TAs and 225 HP in 90.

Also Tuned Port Fuel Injection is Multi-Port Fuel Injection.
