91GTA with 5.0L and an auto trans?
No, generally the GTA came standard with the L98 and Auto. You could take a credit and get the 305TPI with either a 5 spd or auto.

Yup, my 1992 GTA has the 305/Auto combo. On my window sticker you can see the credit for the 305. I've talked to the guy who ordered my car new and he special ordered it with the auto, otherwise it would have automatically come with the 5-spd due to the 305 credit I think. He had to have T-Tops and in 1992 a 305 was the ONLY way to get them on the GTA and he also had to have the auto so his original plan was to equip the car with the SLP Performance kit and bascially have his T-Tops/Auto and have even more HP than the factory 305's.
To tell you guys the truth I like the combo. I'm tired of owning Porsche's with manual trannies, I want to just kick back and cruise. I would have ordered my GTA the EXACT same way as the original did if given the chance looking back
Well, maybe I would have gotten the CD player, I dunno

I really like my 91GTA with the 305 and auto, trans. and the power does not seem to be lacking. I used to have an 86 Iroc with the 350 and there was not a big difference.
92GTA Looks Like I have the same options as you. everything is the same except the Year and the color, mine is Red with Black leather.

Nice to see others that have cars like mine. I also have a 1991 GTA with the 305 and auto combination. Just like 92GTA I would have ordered mine the same way. The power advantage you get from the 350 is not worth it when you don't get t-tops, IMO. Besides, it really dosen't take long to make the 305 equal to the power of the stock 350 motor.
Here are pics of my car.
I also have a website that is just about done which is located here.
Also, definately register with 92GTA's site and check into the GTA SourcePage.

1988 GTA 5.0L/A4 here as well.... although it is sans the front clip right now.
I plan on rectifiying that little situation real soon.
The 4-speed AOD had to be specified on the car order sheet, as the default transmission for the 5.0L was the five-speed manual. The selection of the LB9 5.0L TPI V8 netted a buyer a $300 credit, and the MM5 5-speed netted an additional credit of $515. There was no credit offered on any 4-speed AOD with any engine.
Funny, but the 5.0L GTA that I have had the highest sticker price of any of the three GTAs that I have.... $19,938 vs. $20,690 vs. $20,920.

Apone, your sites design rocks man! I wish I could design like that. Maybe I think it rocks because there are nothing but pictures of a green 91-91 GTA all over it
Those pop-up ads suck bigtime though. Hey, if you need space without pop-ups and ftp access let me know and I can see if I can hook your up. I have more than enough room on my server.
