Well I have seen camaros with the decals in silver, and I just bought an 86 camaro iroc-z and it is maroon, but has gold decals, and gold rims. Was there a certain edition, or anniversary edition or somthing. My car is all stock, so owner did not change the decals.

Just curious what the diff is between the silver and gold, if it means anything.

 

No I don't think that there was any special edition for the gold package. I have a 89 IROCZ that is black with the gold wheels and decals, that is not that special. You just see more silver.

 

gold is of coarse more premium then silver

my 87 Iroc has Black & Gold strips & what have you.

 

If you have beige or tan interior, you get gold stripes. As simple as that.
