GM Restoration packet

Does anybody have the phone number you call (or any other contact info) to get a hold of GM's Restoration division?

I am looking to get the paperwork that they can send you if you give them your VIN (dealer invoice and other paperwork for the car).

Just looks nice to have copies of that stuff for car shows.

Thanks in advance.

Restoration packet from GM for Camaro.

Send info to:
cac@chevrolet.com

Info you need to provide:

1. Your VIN
2. Mailing Address
3. Day and evening phone number

What you will get is a booklet with Past Model Information and another packet with Year Specific Information.
The specs booklet is very detailed it include all types of info from curb weight to individual components weights. Dimensions, order options, RPO's and all kinds of other info.
It is very helpful and will be quite handy if you try and restore a thirdgen twenty years from now. Its free.

Yes, the customer service # above does. I found it a waste of time and paper when I got mine. I got one for every vehicle I own (7).

well, i called them. there is a menu. i gave the guy the vins from my two firebirds.. he has me on hold and is checking to see if they can do it for "this type of vehicle"......

ok, thet are transfering me to "vintage vehicle" dept. they handle info and build sheets on vehicles going back to 1977..... ok they are not free. 45 CDN + tax per car. they will do BUILD SHEETS!, but for 45$ screw that. if anyone wants that the number is 905-440-7689.

there is also a heritage dept for pre 1977.

It's free for Camaro owners. Firebird owners go thru Pontiac Historical Services for a fee.

A packet of photocopied information from GM specific to the model car you ask about. The packet includes pages from the dealer brochure, sales information, weight per option, specifications and dimensions, decoding info, quantity production and option availability. They include more than just this, but you get an idea.
