I saw that too.
Looks to me like the guy slapped a Beretta Indy decal on there, with some Indy 500 stickers, and then made up some story so some unsuspecting person would think that the car is "rare".

It was a 'parade car'. Meaning that it was used in the Indy 500 parade and the laps around the track when introducing drivers, etc. Nothing special at all. Supplied by a local dealer and he put the decals on it.
I worked at a Pontiac dealer many years ago and we would get cars that were in Rockingham and Charlotte with the same crap on them. Sold them at a premium to people who thought the cars were more than a stock Grand Prix with decals!
