I am looking for a certain color blue to paint my 91. i found a car on auto trader painted the color that i like. can someone help me get a paint code please,

If it's stock it would be Ultra Blue Metallic WA9591 (code 98?).
If it's not stock your guess would be as good as anyone's.

I ran your VIN# on our GM parts computer and your car was originally painted Ultra Blue Met. code 98U.

 

is that the only way to find cars original color, through dealership computer, or does it show a code on body tag

 

There is a SPID sticker (service parts identification). It should be located in the hatch rear locking compartment for '92. Here's what it will look like. At the bottom is the exterior codes. U being upper body, and L being lower body (two tone). BCCC - base coat clear coat. 66C being the interior code. I got this SPID from another post. If your SPID is missing, the VIN# to the dealer, as mentioned before would be the only way.
