HISTORY GURU'S help with a vin please!!!!!
I just bought a ta with a 9bolt and I am all grins.
the girl I bought it from said this car is a 86 1/2 and has a 350 tpi.
I cannot find the rpo numbers the car is a bit rough around the edges.
the vin is 1G2FW87FXGL236394
any info would be greatly appreciated

The eighth digit of the Vin # (F) indicates a 305 TPI motor (LB9).
If it were an L98 car it would have an 8 as the eighth digit. That being said...the 350 was not even available until 87.
