did any 86's not have the high-mounted external third brake light?
Just thought I'd throw this question out there. My 86 doesn't have the '86 third brake light but I'm almost positive it was changed over to a different back window at some time.

I don't know if it's the same for Pontiac, but look-

I found this also so I guess the answer is yes.
"All 1986 Pontiac Firebirds receive center high mounted stop lamps as required by Federal legislation, placed on top of back window."
