What's a Formula T/A?

Hey, everybody. I'm not sure where to put this, so I put it here.

Earlier this year I bought a 1988 Pontiac Firebird Formula T/A from New Jersey. It has vin code "S" so I know it's not a Trans Am, and engine code "8," so I know it has the 350cid V8. It has "Formula T/A" on both bumper covers, so I'm sure it is what it says it it. My question is this; What the heck is it? What is a Formula T/A, and how is it different than a Formula 350? All the metal parts seem to have been painted since it was manufactured, so there are no other markings on the body, except for the bumper covers. The power bulge hood is clean, as are the doors and the door jambs where that info should be. My other two cars have the TPI 305, but the Formula has t-tops and the UQ7 audio package. Other than that, both Formulas are the same.

I apologize for the lenghty post, but I wanted to get as much in as I could. I need to sell the car ($2500 if anybody's asking), but I want to know what I have first. I have not seen any evidence of Formula T/As anywhere, and every time I search I get all kinds of stuff about Trans Ams. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
