GM doesn't keep specific info on option combinations like you're asking. But that said '92 Z28's are not a common site, especially with the L98 350.Your situation is unique because the 350 was a hardtop only Z28 or RS(with RPO B4C)option.These numbers are from the "Camaro Whitebook"(which isn't 100% all the time).
Z28 Coupe - 5,197
RPO B2L (includes L98) - 3,038(it doesn't break down how many B4C cars came with it).
Code 81 Bright Red - 11,059
Z28 Coupe - 5,197
RPO B2L (includes L98) - 3,038(it doesn't break down how many B4C cars came with it).

Car: 1992 Z28 (Heritage Edition)
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2.73 Posi
3,038-589(# of b4c's)=2449 (# of L98 Z28s)
about 15% of all camaros in 1992 were red.
2449 x %15 = 367.
In a very rough approximation, especially presuming that trends for buying a red camaro was the same for RS's as it was for Z28's, there were about 367 Red, L98 equipped, Z28's.

RedChex89 the info I have is from on here, the "Camaro Whitebook" and from what I've read from different sources on the web( http://www.camarosource.ca is another). With that said the "Whitebook" gives 3,203 Z28 Convertibles built in '91.The Vin sixth digit would be "3"(body style)for convertible and the eight digit(engine)should be "F"(LB9 305).
And thankyou Scottmoyer for pointing out what I left out about the RPO B4C cars. The LB9 was the standard motor with that package with the B2L(L98 350)optional

Re: how many 92 z28's?
I know this is a old thread so I hope the experts are still around. I am buying my son his first car/camaro and am trying to find out how many were made. It's a 92 z28 Teal, hardtop, 350 tpi, pretty loaded and has 94k on original motor and no leaks at all but needs injectors. Getting it for 1200.00 and he keeps it an the barn. the last 6 is 132269 made in van nyu. Thank you for your help.
