Ok, read up on 1987 Firebird and have some questions. Says they did away with 3rd brakelight on rear window yet mine has it. Also my bird had the upgraded suspension. Also mine has a bulge hood, which was only on formulas in 87. Vin is 1G2FS21H9HN221085. Not sure about engine. Has all polution crap on but has bolt holes on front with no bolts in it. All numbers for block missing as well as timing marks. Clip has marker numbers on like you see at junk yard, also right panel replaced. For a car that is 20 years old, there is no rust anywhere, not even inder t tops. Flowmaster catback is only known mod. Can someone shed light on this.

 

Could be a Formula. You could get them with the boat anchor LG4 in 1987. Check to see if your SPID is still in place. If it is, check to see if the Formula RPO is there.

Ok, alot of browsers but no posters. Today I removed all the interior and carpet. I have had some 15 + year cars. I have never pulled carpet up and it looks new. No rust, no dirt, nothing. Looked like it had just been painted. Wish I knew history of this car.
