The vin shows an F which means...its an LB9 305 car. Not suprising at all.

The hood was probably swapped at some point.

Or they put the sticker on there. Either way, no real shock there... no 350 came in that car.

yea and i don't think the engine is worth the reserve. I wouldn't pay 1500 bucks for that right now. I would pay 250. I could get a 350 out of a junkyard for half that 1500 and rebuild it in my garage for less than that. The guy is definitly ripping the buyer off if anyone goes for it. I would have to say that the frame is bent. My dad wrecked his 77 firebird TA clone and that was it after the 4th time. Despite it being a vert Iroc I would total it.

I am an Historic Automotive Technology Major in college and I am going into the business of Restoration. I can tell you right now that car is going to be relegated as a parts car or will be scrapped. Its not worth the labor and time it would take to put it back together. And after what I saw on my brother's car which was involved in a minor fender bender with bent frame structures in the bumper. The frame at the front end of that thing is definitly bent if not completly crushed.

i think 750 might be worth it for the car and iroc convertible are still nice to have and collectible, but there is no way it is a 350 from the factory.

i dont trust those stickers anyway. my 89 rs that came with the tbi 305 had the same emissions sticker that one does showing that i had a 350 tpi. but it does look like he may have revised the posting stating that its a 305....

he says right at the top that its a 305... sticker is obviously from another car..why the debate? I also have an iroc hood with the same hood sticker sitting on my rs.. not that unheard of.. not sure why he took a pic of it though..maybe he thinks a 305 is 5.7 litres?

On a side note I'd give him about $5 for that car, then take it to the body shop have it fixed, then probably pay about 15k for it then kick myself in the nuts.

There's been a lot of editing done, it said 350 all over it, and no VIN was posted either.
