I've got a 1992 Firebird Formula 350 with ttops. It red with black interior and the black spiderweb wheels. This car has an orginal 52,000 miles and it in damn near perfect shape. Stored in a heated garage during winter....NO rust and the interior looks like brand new. It is 100% stock except for a new muffler and tires.

I'm getting it out of storage in the next couple of weeks and putting it up for sale. I HATE to get rid of it, but I have four girls ages 2yrs to 9yrs old and need the money for more practical things.

I honestly have no clue what to ask for it...I'm thinking ballpark $4,000 to $5,000 but I would like some feedback.

A buddy of mine just sold his 88 formula, It was black, but just as damn nice as yours. He sold it for $4,500. It took him about 2 months to get it sold though. Post it up here on the classified board and I'm sure you'll get your money from it.

 

Do you want to know what it's worth or what it'll actually sell for?
If you put $3,500 on the windshield it'd probably sell pretty quick. On the other hand, if you advertise it in a couple publications, and wait a while you could probably get nearly twice that.

Considering that it's not trashed, and it's a fairly rare combo, I wouldn't sell it cheap. It's probably worth up to about $8,000 if you find the right buyer.

Thanks for all the info guys.... Yes, I guess I kinda worded the title wrong. I don't really need to know what my car is worth, but what I can sell it for.

I WILL be sellling it, that much is certain. However, I'm not in dire need of money or need to sell it so quickly that I lose a ton of money. It's just that I've gotten to the point that I need something more practical that I can drive year around.
