How much are these cars worth 1984 2.5 Camaro sport

 

The value of the car is more dependent upon it's condition than the year/engine combo. You would need to show some detailed pics for anybody to make a good guess. The car could be worth $50, or it could be worth a few grand if you find the right buyer. It all depends on the condition.

 

A 4 banger camaro is going to be tough to determine the value of. It's an extremely rare car with virtually no desirability.

An absolutely amazing, well preserved low mile original could pull good money to a collector, but anything that's "used" in any sense of the word is likely to be worth very little, to the tune of a few hundred bucks or less.

 

Take a car with ANY OTHER engine, in identical condition; and see what that's worth.

Then take off $500 if the comparo car is a 6-cyl or $1000 if the comparo is a V8; or half the value, whichever is less. That should get you into the ballpark.

Nobody want those things. They're slug-slow, hard to work on, and use 80% as much gas as the L69 (the hottest motor of that year). Just not a desirable care at all.

Your "rare" 4-cyl, plus $1.80, will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks. That should give you a monetary idea about how much "rare" is worth by itself. Sometimes things are "rare" for a reason: like, nobody wanted them when they were new, and they've fallen by the wayside faster than average ever since.
