I just bought another thirdgen 84 z28 from my friend its got the black paint with gold trim and the gold wheels that ive seen on several other 82-84 z28's but it also has gold stripes on the hood and hatch is this factory or just something an old owner put on?

 

I have a '83 Z28 that's beige with gold GFX and wheels.She is still wearing the factory paint and lower stripes.The extra stripes on your '84 are either a dealer add(maybe a regional special model)on or a previous owner added.I don't think there was a factory option for the Z28 like for the Berlinetta or Sport Coupe.If you could please post some pictures.
