GTA and Trans AM

Transmission: 86:700R4, 82: T200C
Axle/Gears: 86:3:27 9 bolt, 82: 3:23 10 bolt
GTA and Trans AM
What are the differences between a GTA and a Trans AM, other then the obvious things like the badging and lumbar seats? Are there mechanical differences in suspension, brakes, steering ratios, gear ratios, and other performance enhancements? Thanks. Charles

Transmission: 5 speed (for all 3),auto for T/A
Axle/Gears: 3.45 (GTA only)

In answer to your question, I believe most of the performance and other items on the GTA were options for the T/A. Rather than me trying to go through all the information here and just be redundant anyway, you should visit The GTA Source Page. Frankie Rider II has assembled all the information you want (and then some) regarding GTAs.

Thanks, That actually answers most of my questions. It also explains why there are Trans AM's out there that have features of the GTA's. I will look at the GTA Source page. Charles
