Yes it's for real. During the 80's, there were many customized cars made and they used Fbodies and certain Fords. When you see them as 1 of X, it doesn't matter as they are not like the Yenko's or the Motion cars. They are only visually modified.

Chevrolet designers hit the nail on the head pretty hard when they designed the 3rd gen Camaro. I find very few major cosmetic customizing that does anything but make it look worse.

I've seen the same exact car on e-bay a few months back. Mentioned it on here too. The color was different though- a light metallic blue.
