Important History 4 my 92 Z28 Heritage vert?

I have a couple of questions. I picked up this car a couple of months ago. I was lucky enough to find one that had ALL of the original paperwork: 2 build sheets, the original window sticker. All of the original purchase paperwork including loan application and all of the warranty manuals. It also came with a letter and news mailer from the Illinois Camaro Club addressed to the original owner. It seems the Camaro Club attended the press conference/25th Anniv Celebration at the McCormick Conv Center in Chicago IL on Feb 7, 1992. They had a picture taken in front of the 92 Camaro displayed on stage. This happens to be the same car I have now. I have a copy of the picture with my car setting on the stage with a big 25th Anniv cake sitting on it. My question, was this the official GM press conference or did they have a lot around the country? Thanks for the help.

I don't know for sure, but if the picture you have was taken on Feb. 7, 1992, then I would assume they had other shows/press conferences because the model year was half over. The final order dates for 1992 models was probably in early April. The original press releases for the 25th Ann. would have come out in August/September of 1991.

It still sounds like you found a neat car with some great history.

I'm thinking of buying a 1992 Z28 red HERITAGE VERT with red leather interior does anyone know how many with these colors and leather were made?
