is it still possible to get a copy of a thirdgen's original factory invoice?
i'm buying another car, and would like to know if the copies of original factory invoices are still available from gm.

I got mine through Pontiac Historical Services with no problem. They offer a package of data for your car that includes the factory invoice and other year-specific data. They also provide production numbers, etc. You can also order a replica window sticker. Both are around $40 depending on model year. Their web address is www.phs-online.com.

Yes you can get invoices for your cars 
On Pontiacs 1987 and earlier PHS can provide the information, while on Chevrolet 1977-present and Pontiacs 1987-present you need to contact GM Media Archives at vehicleinvoice@gmmediaarchive.com They do all other GM brands too. I used them for my TTA's, quick service and full invoice including pricing but not cheap at $50 each.
