RPO question

I took all of my RPO's and put them through the RPO program on the main site, and theres two codes I had a question about..
WW2- Appearance package(silver)aero #2 (colored ground effects?)
86A- stripe color accent, two tone, gunmetal/red (racing style stripe or pin stripe?)

those two only raise my eyebrows since my camaro is a solid red.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks, AmorgetRS
After posting this thread I went out to work on the car a little bit and noticed something I haven't before. I found a little chip of paint at the very bottom of the drivers side quarter panel, and from what it appears, the car WAS repainted, but not to the exact stock colors.

But as well my questions do stand, seeing as how I don't know that much about RPO's and their not very specific on some of the codes.

Re: RPO question

Unless you have the 88 RS, the ground effects on your car should be silver. The IROC-Z and the RS had the same color GFX as the car, but the Sport Coupe had silver. Most non-IROCs in 88 were the Sport Coupes. The emblem will just say Camaro unless they too have been replaced.

Re: RPO question

Scott,
I know for Firebird some of the colors were also avaialble in monochrome, IE Black, Red. But others there was only one way to get them, with the 2 tone, unless it was on the GTA then they all got the monochromatic colors. The Yellow for example was ONLY available with the lower stripe in 1987 & 1988.

Just wondering, not trying to hijack the thread.
