OK. PHS doesn't do vehicles newer than 86. Allied Vaughn just does invoices, which I purchased but would like more, like the RPO(SPID) sticker, (which some dunderhead removed before I got the car), a window sticker/build sheet, etc. Does anybody know of any place else where I could try? Thanks.
BTW, where would be the likely hiding spot for the build sheet of my car? Maybe I've got one and don't even know it!

Re: Documentation
Any info or link to Allied Vaughn? I've never heard of them. Searching seems to bring up some DVD service which doesn't appear to be car related.
PHS did the window sticker for my 89. I haven't heard of anybody who does build sheets. The GM dealer "may" be able to do an RPO sticker. Hit and miss on that one it seems.

Re: Documentation
this email should work.
vehicleinvoice@gmmediaarchive.com
They will send you an e-mail form to fill out. Send it back and you'll have your invoice pretty quick.

Re: Documentation
Got both an invoice and window sticker from PHS for my 1991. Who told you they don't do anything newer than 86? I got the invoice about 3 years ago and I got the window sticker just last month. Both were pretty accurate.

Re: Documentation
Jim Mattison
Some time last year--(early summer?) GM decided that PHS cannot do 86 and up. (don't know the exact story but thats the end result)
I had tried to do the whole order for my car but was too late. Hence the Allied Vaughn route.

Re: Documentation
Jim - I was not aware, thanks. Glad I got mine from you when I did. You tried to help me with some questions I had about my car at the time and provided some useful info.

Re: Documentation
Wow that's unfortunate that Jim Mattison told you about this. I was lucky enough to get a PHS historic package for my 89 GTA, a few years ago! I wonder why they ain't doing it anymore
I was hoping to buy another package just in case but oh well, thanks for the update on it.

Re: Documentation
PHS had an agreement with GM to where they would hadle all of the pontiacs. Basically GM decided to breach the contract and tell Jim that they wanted all of the lines the same. So they took the records from him. More likely I suspect that they still have the records but PHS cannot release the information.
