my frinds mom has a '92 camaro RS. it has the 3.1 w/ a 5 spd. i kknow that this was the last year for the third gen camaro and the 25 th year of the camaro. i understand that some of these cars this year were anniversary editions. i also understand that these editions were avalible in the Z28 and RS, if im not mistaken. i was wondering if they had a anniversary edition RS w/ the 3.1, her car does have the 25th anniversary badge on the dash and i cant remember if its on the spoiler or not though, does this badge mean it was an anniversary edition or did all the '92's have this badge? i do know that she bought in '93 w/ 10,000 miles on it cause she thaought the '93's were ugly, agree, she special ordered this one from the dealer and thay found one w/ the v6 and 5spd. if this is an anniversary edition, what are the production numbers for the RS w/ the 3.1 and 5 spd? i do appriciate any help so i can let her know if her car is a rare one or a plane 'ol RS, cause she wouldnt know if it was.

All '92 Camaros have the 25th Anniversary badge on the dash. Did the car have the 2 stripes down the center of the car? If not then it's just a regular '92. If it does, then it's a Heritage Edition. The one way to tell for sure is to look on the RPO sheet that's located in the storage bin in the trunk of the car. If there is a Z03 listed on that sheet then it's a Heritage Edition.

I can't help you out on the production numbers of the '92 3.1 liter/5speed combo though, but I'm sure there's probably somebody here that can.

 

Open the rear hatch, open that little compartment and look at the RPO codes they should be on the inside of that lid, if it say's Z03, it's a herritage edition, only way to truely tell if it is.. well unless someone switched that lid or somthing.. but the herritage edition, had the 2 "herritage" stripes and a badge on the rear hatch.. all '92's came with the 25th badge on the dash tho
