Hoping someone can shed some light on these for me - ran both through the RPO decoder and 1SZ came back with 3 question marks, 1A2 says SEO VEHICLE PUBLIC SERVICE wondering if anyone can tell me what that means and if there is some equipment associated with it.

92 Z28 convert 305 AT - the car originally went directly from GM to AC/Delco, don't know why, they had it for abot a year then to a dealer in SoCal whoi had it on his showroom floor for quite awhile, I bought it from the original private owners.

I also have the exact same RPO's the 1SZ and the 1A2.

Not sure if those are just peliminary codes then the Z28 (IROC option) code was given and it called for a change/delete of some sort.

Anybody want to chime in???

On my vehicle invoice sheet, "1SD" refers to Z28 Preferred Equipment Group #__ includes:_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Below this, "1SZ" refers to Preferred Equipment Savings.

Example: MSRP INV AMT
1SD: 2333.00 1983.05
1SZ: 1000.00- 850.00-

Here is what I found for you...

1A2 = SEO VEHICLE, PUBLIC SERVICE

I know you got this, however the very next line in the booklet is 1C1 = SEO VEHICLE, EXPORT, NON POLICE VERSION.

The car may have been used or originally ordered as a parade car or a "DARE" car... its really hard to say. Or it could have been an emissions test vehicle or something to the sort.
