I have a gta but im not sure what year. it is. i believe its an 87 but how can you tell for sure?

'87s also had the three spoke steering wheel. '88s and '89s had the steering wheel radio controls, and '90s had airbags.

What does the title of the car show? If you aren't even certain of what year you bought, I'd be more concerned if it is a real GTA or just a badged TA.

From a certain point of view you are correct, my reply was unnecessary, however there have been reports of "Fake" GTA's which were made in 1986. If you simply take the information that you gave He could have thought that the GTA was made from 1982 - 1992, I simply wanted to point out that the GTA was only made from 1987 - 1992.

Not trying to rub you the wrong way, your answer was technically correct for trying to figure out what year the car was, but it was more information than what was needed for a GTA.
