Looking to Learn
Looking to Learn
I'm 17 years old and I drive a 1992 Firebird, I absolutly love my car, and my dad has two '84 trans ams. But he's no expert and hardly has time to work on the cars, and at this point all he's really doing is preping the car to be painted, and while sanding is fun, I really want to learn more about working on my car. So i would love the oppertunity to help with a restoration or some other project with an f-body, somewhere in the seattle area. Drop me a message back if your interested in having an extra pair of hands around to get your tools or soemthing, I'm eager to learn whatever I can.

Re: Looking to Learn
To be honest, you will learn a ton by doing. Someone can show you 10 times and you still might not get it. Do it yourself one time and you got something, do it twice and it is almost always there forever.
One of my biggest fears WAS failure, so I would think and think and think about something and then when I finally got to it I wasted a ton of time. I have learned that just a little bit of thought and then dive in, right or wrong you will figure it out, Just do not tackle too much at one time and go slow.
Good luck
