The car looks perfect but it says it has a 350 that can't be right can it?

Re: Is this car the real deal

That would be a 5.0 CFI motor, not a 5.7/350.

Re: Is this car the real deal

That is a very clean example of an '82 Pace Car.

Re: Is this car the real deal

I think I remember reading that some of the actual pace cars did use a 350. BUT they were not released to the public. AND the VIN of those cars would still read with the 305 as they were transplanted...

This car is more than likely NOT one of those cars. It would be a Pace car...

I am going to watch the auction to see where it ends.

Re: Is this car the real deal

Why would such a un-molested car have an incorrect, later-model radio?
Nice car- I am so jealous of that interior!

Tend to forget how good looking those cars were. Going for not a lot of money at this point too.

The radio looks similar to one I had in my 83 Riviera... How should it look... honestly curious.

An '82 should have a radio like that but with an analog tuner with a digital clock. I think GM went to a fully digital tuner in '83 on the upper-end cars.
