Re: help car

its not rare as the 9 bolt was very avail on the upper end models. my 89 formula has the 9 bolt with 3.45 gears but those came in stick cars and the autos got the 2.77, 3.27 and 3.08 rears. yes there is a 3.08 9 bolt but itr shares only the ratio of the 10 bolt counterpart. they arent interchangable.

i will say the 89 is a 1 year car if ya wanna consider that rare. it was the last year for MAF, first year for PBR brakes last year for the 9 bolt although i have heard some 90 models getting them as GM depleated thir stock of 9 bolts and first year for over the shoulder rear seat belts and first year fo no 9th injector.

Re: help car

1989 was technically the only year in the US you could have gotten a GTA with the L98 (350) AND the CC1 (T-tops). There are some earlier (1987 & 1988) Canadian bound GTA's that I have seen with the combo, but no US versions.

If you want rare, make that car a convertible, which would make it one of 140, or more rare a FORMULA 350 Convertible, then you can honestly claim "Rare"
